About the Event
Join us for a unique and educational experience walking along our cherished acequias (community irrigation systems) as we learn about their deep-rooted history
and importance to our culture, land, and water.
The Pajarito Acequia Walk & Talk will be led by the President of the South Valley Regional Association of Acequias (SVRAA), Santiago Maestas.
We invite you to take the opportunity to learn about the impact that acequias have in our communities, and how you can be a part of keeping these systems alive.
