The Center for Social Sustainable Systems (CESOSS) is a community-based organization committed to the protection and preservation of land and water in the Middle Rio Grande Region of Albuquerque. Our organization works closely with the South Valley Regional Association of Acequias (SVRAA) and the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District to address issues related to promoting acequias as a community resource, acequia training and governance, and connecting South Valley residents to land and water.

Acequia Outreach Project Coordinator
The Acequia Outreach Project Coordinator will play a key role in advancing sustainable agriculture, water rights declaration, water conservation within the Middle Rio Grande South Valley Regional Acequia system, and increasing access to water sharing practices. The Coordinator will lead the development and implementation of outreach activities and facilitate the creation of the Acequia Outdoor Learning Spaces.
Acequia Partnership Communications Coordinator
The Partnership Coordinator will play a crucial role in expanding and strengthening the network of partnerships that support our mission. This individual will be responsible for building relationships with community leaders, comisionados, parciantes, local organizations, local schools, and other stakeholders. The Coordinator will also lead outreach efforts to promote our programs and initiatives, ensuring that they are accessible and resonate with our target audience
