We are extremely excited to announce that the Acequia Walk & Talks are back! As our community becomes vaccinated and COVID-19 regulations begin to loosen, we intend to SAFELY bring people together and build community around our acequias.

In collaboration with the South Valley Regional Association of Acequias (SCRAA), CESOSS is excited to bring the Walk & Talk series back to the community. We invite the community and larger public to join us in an educational morning spent sharing stories/issues related to the acequias and our community, while we take a walk along one of the South Valley acequias. Local community members connected to acequia and agricultural traditions are invited to lead the talk and walk. Not only will we learn about powerful history of the South Valley community, but we will also be improving our overall health.
