Join us for a unique educational experience paired with community engagement while we walk along our cherished acequias (community flood irrigation ditches). We'll learn about their deep-rooted history and importance to our culture, land, and water - other topics include an overview of the Rio Grande Compact, governmental systems surrounding Acequias, and the current water situation in the Middle Rio Grande Valley.
